Chennai : SIMS Hospital, one of the best hospitals in Chennai belonging to SRM Group, today announced the launch of Hello Doctor – 2001 2001 in the presence of Chief Guest Thiru Ma. Subramanian, Minister of Health, Medical Education and Family Welfare, Government of Tamil Nadu, with Dr. J. Radhakrishnan IAS., Principal Secretary of Health and Family Welfare, Government of Tamil Nadu and Dr. P Ravi Pachamuthu, Chairman of the SRM group.

Providing both home health care and acute hospital care services at home, Hello Doctor – 2001 2001 is specially designed to provide continuous SIMS hospital level health care in the comfort of their homes to the residents of Chennai with appropriate monitoring and treatment protocols, supplemented with virtual care. Although the program is launched to primarily serve elderly patients and children, the treatment of over 50 different acute conditions can be appropriately and safely treated at home with timely in-person care by a team led by a doctor and a nurse practitioner. Through the Hello Doctor service, SIMS Hospital also aims to provide post-discharge care to patients from the comfort of their homes. In an effort to offer accurate advice and treatment, the hospital also encourages citizens to use the Hello Doctor service to understand various medical conditions and get timely consultation from doctors.

Commenting on the launch Thiru Ma. Now, with the launch of the Hello Doctor initiative – 2001 2001, SIMS is ready to provide its proven quality hospital services beyond its existing walls and remains committed to ensuring that patients also receive the care they need at home.As well as being helpful to the elderly, I believe that Hello Doctor-2001 2001 will play a vital role in treating more than 50 acute conditions safely at home with proper treatment protocols.
